I was skeptical that such a quick procedure would be an effective treatment. The nurse and technician walked me through everything, and were just as thorough as could be. I was done and ready to head home that same day!
As a doctor myself, I know I am one of those “lucky recurring cases” because this was my 3rd procedure – but my first with MAKSA. I moved to Kansas City to open a new practice in 2014, so I took the recommendation from a fellow physician. The MAKSA experience was different in every way from my previous protocols. The technicians, nursing staff and mobile facility is all (refreshingly) different. Jamie was my technician and I couldn’t be more pleased with how easy she made the entire process.
I hope I never have to come in again – but if I do, I will plan on using MAKSA at St. Joseph’s.
All I can say is “wow.” I couldn’t believe the technology in the mobile treatment lab. I felt secure, informed and they thoroughly answered all of my questions! I know this may sound strange, but the nurses made the entire process kind of fun. I chose my own music in my headphones and before I knew it I was done! My stones are gone and have not returned.
…I also drink a lot more water now!
